Whatever the celebration, you can be assured Holmewood Hall will rise to the occasion. This unique house provides an idyllic setting in which to entertain friends and family, whether you are inviting a few hundred or a few select guests to your special event.

We are expert at arranging the perfect hospitality and ambience for your memorable occasion, from entertainment and cuisine through to decoration and attentive service.

Rather than offer set packages, we work very much to your requirements, personalising every aspect of your celebration to make it unique to you. Our established network of suppliers includes musicians, entertainers and florists, while our own chefs can create delicious menus to suit occasion.

Weddings receptions, wedding blessings, anniversaries, christenings, private parties and themed events (e.g. murder mystery) can all be celebrated in style.

The Hall is decorated to the highest standards throughout, with many period features such as mullion windows, spectacular fireplaces and original oak panelling still in place. The rooms all situated on the ground floor have their unique character and can create the ideal setting for your special event.

The Gold Room is an ornate and impressive setting for special events such as wedding or anniversary celebrations. So named because of its sculpted gold leaf ceiling. Its ballroom proportions are perfect for dinning or dancing, with views of the formal garden through wall height stained glass windows.

With its wall-to-wall bookshelves and exquisite fireplace, the Library is perfect for aperitifs or after dinner coffee. Bay window seating with comfortable armchairs, fresh flowers and views over the grounds create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere whatever the occasion. The Garden Room is a very well proportioned and, as its name suggests, provides wonderful views of the exquisite grounds of the Hall.

Featuring a decorative stone fireplace and oak panelling, the Billiard room can be adapted for smaller events. The grounds are perfect for outside functions, or when a marquee is required in conjunction with the house to accommodate larger parties.
